FOr the first edition of MJK, We chose the gallery area of Jawahar Kala Kendra, JAipur. Meticulously designed by master architect Charles Correa - the building boasts of several performance spaces, we chose a corner which was often seen as a functional corridor and less as a stage.
About a 100 people nestled in the center of the courtyard witnessed the magic of MJK unfold as they were taken in by surprise form all corners of the courtyard. A seamless stringing together of sounds and stories, movements and music had the audience spellbound.
